Packer Keep Rolling & Win 5th Straight! Beat Lions 24-20.

The Green Bay Packers won their 5th straight, and it was not easy or very pretty, but it seems they aren't too concerned about how they look winning. QB Aaron Rodgers was 19 of 27 for 236 yards with two TDs and an interception. His first TD pass was a 20-yard connection with wide open Jermichael Finley early in the second quarter that gave Green Bay its first lead, and Finley’s first TD since opening day. Rodgers second TD was a 22 yarder to Randall Cobb with 1:55 left, and the Packers pulled out a 24-20 win over Detroit Lions on Sunday, to cheers across the globe! The Packers (7-3) moved within a half-game of first-place Chicago in the NFC North after losing three of their first five games. The Bears play tonight vs. the 49ers. "When our best was needed," Rodgers said, "we were able to come through."   AWESOME: The interception that was returned 72 yards by Green Bay M.D. Jennings for a go-ahead score in the third quarter. It had to be redemption for M.D. and that debacle back in Seattle. Randall Cobb had nine catches for 74 yards and the game-winning TD! Cobb is quickly becoming Mr. Football, or the do everything guy for the Packers. Rookie Casey Hayward getting his 5th INT, he is simply an amazing young kid! Rookie LB Dezman Moses playing for the injured Clay Matthews, stripping Stafford and then rookie defensive tackle Mike Daniels recovering that Stafford fumble. The five sacks on Stafford, two by left outside linebacker Erik Walden, Moses, safety Morgan Burnett and backup cornerback Davon House. Great Job Gentlemen! BOO: Kicker Mason Crosby missing two field goals that could of caused the Packers to lose such a close game. I think he needs to watch the movie Bull Durham and then live it! Clear your mind buddy, and get right, we are going to need you strong! Mason has missed 7 of 12 field goals so far this season, ouch! James Starks did some very hard running and got 74 yards on 25 carries, but more is needed, as the weather starts to change, we are going to be depending on the run game more. Until next Sunday night when we take on the Giants on National TV again...we are all praying for 6 in a row...GO! PACK GO!
